Annnnnd ... we're back! grin Yes, we're back and with a new look (once again). We salvaged the best, most unique content from the old site and now have some new gadgets, for example private messaging, polls and forums.

This project was first started under the name Locombia.org in 2000 and, though we have taken a couple breaks , has continued to be of use to people (based on the traffic the site has done and comments I have gotten from random visitors).

So we'll keep at it for awhile longer. Thanks for your participation.

Hi George, The new look is very nice. One suggestion, though: Can you limit the size of the avatars/photos that show up next to the name of the poster? Trying to read the forum replies on a laptop requires a lot of scrolling because the text becomes so "vertical" when there are large photos. Regards, Tinto

I have two requests.
(1) Would it be pssible to get local opinions on international events,eg, War in Iraq, The globalization of the world's economies, the Drug Wars, etc?

(2) Would it be permissable to request your forum members to register and participate in the <cal.alachua.fl.us> forums in North Florida, and would it be permissable to invite our forum members to this forum?
