hi
soccer is the most popular sport here by far. NASCAR racing is also very popular, mostly because of Juan Pablo Montoya, who is Colombian and almost always finishes 2nd or 3rd in all the races.
Famous soccer players.... Pibe Valderrama just retired, he is pretty famous.

Adding to the above and judging by the amount of English language press coverage, I'd say:
1) Futbol by far, but the national team hasn't done very well
2) Formula One racing - a national holiday will be declared if Montoya ever beats Shumacher ;-)
3) Cycling - Colombians do very well
4) Tennis - lots of press about Fabiola Zuluaga |
